MII NOSE JOB
NON SURGICAL AUGMENTATION
For non-surgical nose augmentation, Miiren offers Hi-Ko. It is transliteration of Korean, which means “high nose”.
Hi-Ko employs the use of polydioxane (PDO) threads to create volume and definition in the nose bridge and tip.
In fact, PDO threads have been used for surgical wound closure for many decades and are safely left in ones body. Your skin will break down the thread material over time.
On the day of the procedure, doctor will consult you on the shape of nose bridge and tip the patient desires. The skin is numbed with topical cream and a small entry needle is used to facilitate thread placement. PDO threads are inserted using a sterile cannula and technique into the desired location to achieve the design discussed above.
Doctor who performs the Hi-Ko procedure has been trained personally by Dr Yang Sung Yu, a specialist plastic surgeon from Taiwan.
For 2 weeks after the procedure, do avoid activities that will assert pressure on the nose as this is to allow the PDO threads to ‘gel’ with the skin tissue. Other than that, you may resume normal activities – there is no downtime.
Hi-Ko nose threads can last between 6 months to 1 year before their effect starts to diminish.
